Senator Lydia Chassaniol is a lifelong resident of Winona and a dedicated champion for the people of District 14. Since first being elected to the Mississippi Senate in 2007, she has earned a reputation as a common-sense leader who prioritizes economic growth, education, and government accountability.
Lydia is married to Emmett Chassaniol, a cotton farmer, and is the proud mother of two daughters. A member of the Methodist church, her service is guided by her faith and a lifelong commitment to the Mississippi Delta
